Privacy Policy

The Short Version

Everything you track stays on your device unless you choose to share it. The app works with no account, no login, and no analytics or advertising trackers. If you turn on Live Sharing, only the things you choose to share are stored on our server — and you can delete them permanently at any time with one tap.

What Stays on Your Device (Default)

By default, the app stores all of your data locally on your device only: contraction history, kick counts, weight entries, checklists, birth plan, due date, and preferences. We have no access to it. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. There are no user accounts and no cloud backup by us (your own iCloud device backup may include app data, governed by Apple's privacy policy).

Live Sharing (Optional)

Live Sharing lets your family and doula follow your labor in real time through a private link. It is off by default and only ever activated by you. When you start a live session, the following is stored on our server (located in the EU) so your followers can see it:

• Contraction start/end times and intensity — only if you leave "Show contraction timing" on; you can turn it off at any time
• Text updates and photos you or your invited partner choose to post
• The first name you optionally enter for the live page
• Your birth announcement, if you choose to share one
• Emoji reactions sent by your followers

Protection: your live page is reachable only through a long random link and your 5-character invite code — it is never listed or searchable. We never post anywhere on your behalf; you decide who receives the link.

Deletion: ending the session in the app immediately and permanently deletes everything about it from our server, including photos. Sessions you forget about are automatically deleted after 14 days of inactivity. "Delete all my data" in Settings wipes both your device data and any active live session.

Technical logs: like almost every web server, ours keeps short-lived standard connection logs (IP address, request time) for security and abuse prevention (e.g. rate limiting). These are not linked to your health data and are routinely rotated.

Purchases

Payments are processed entirely by Apple. To recognize your Pro purchase across reinstalls, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives your purchase receipt and a random anonymous identifier — never your name, email, or health data.

Audio Library

Relaxation tracks are streamed/downloaded from our server. Standard server access logs apply; no listening profile is created.

What We Never Do

• No analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers in the app
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with anyone
• No use of your data for advertising or "tracking" across apps and websites
• No accounts, passwords, or email collection

Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Because we don't hold your identity, most requests are self-service: end your live session or use "Delete all my data" in Settings for instant erasure. For anything else — access, deletion, or questions — email us and include your live-page link or invite code so we can locate the session (that's the only way we can identify data as yours).

Cookies

The live follower page uses no tracking cookies. It stores a small local preference in the follower's browser (e.g. which reaction they sent) that never leaves their device. This website does not use analytics cookies.

Children's Privacy

Our app and website are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes (like the introduction of Live Sharing) will always be reflected here before they ship.
